Capacity Media | Elea Digital and Vertiv Partner on Edge in Brazil
Elea Digital and Vertiv have formed a partnership to deliver edge data centre services in Brazil.
Under the terms of the collaboration, Vertiv will provide operation and maintenance services for Elea Digital data centres in certain Brazilian metro areas, including Porto Alegre, Curitiba, and Brasilia.
Through this partnership, Vertiv will gain access to a larger and wider market to support the Brazilian data centre industry growth and aligns with Elea Digital and Vertiv goals of maintaining current market growth rates.

Piemonte Holding and the Private Credit business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management announce they have completed an investment in Elea Digital, an ecosystem of six data centers across different Metro-Areas in Brazil.
The deal is aimed at boosting growth of Elea Digital, a Brazilian interconnected platform of edge data centers. An investment agreement between Piemonte Holding and the Private Credit business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management was reached last October and Brazilian antitrust and telecom regulators (CADE and Anatel) issued transaction approval last December.

Brazilian private equity firm Piemonte Holding and its Brazilian data centre portfolio company Elea Digital have announced a new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Tito Costa will be responsible for the group’s data centre ecosystem, which includes six data centres in five Brazilian metropolises. These include Porto Alegre, Curitiba, São Paulo, Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro.
Costa is a telecommunications engineer with vast experience in the sector. He was recently sales director at Equinix (NASDAQ: EQIX) in Brazil, where he also worked in strategy development, business development and M&A. He has also worked at Telecom Italia, América Movil and Siemens.

The Brazilian investment company announced this week that it has signed an agreement with the Private Credit business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, which will take an equity investment Piemonte’s Brazilian data center subsidiary Elea Digital.
